Our studio

We are a small, friendly studio situated in the market town of Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Nestled in the heart of the Mendip Hills, we are ideally located in some of the most picturesque surroundings, and are in easy reach of local villages and cities alike.

The studio was established in 1980 by Peter Lewis, ABIPP, and has been at our main premises in 14 Town Street since 1983, resulting in over twenty years of specialised and local knowledge.

Our services

The studio’s main areas of expertise are wedding photography and portraiture. Our wedding services culminate in a beautiful and natural-looking memento of your day, combining a mix of traditional photography with an element of reportage. We offer a number of packages that can be tailored to your particular requirements and your photographer will meet with you beforehand to ascertain your wishes and answer any queries you may have.

Our portraits can be traditional, contemporary, environmental or business. They can be taken on a location of your choice or at our designated studio.  Our business photography repertoire includes photographs for advertising purposes and of executives.

We have particular experience of personal and family portraits and are adept at ensuring that having your picture taken will be stress-free and pleasant, no matter the age of your child, for example, or how rambunctious your pet.

Peter Lewis, ABIPP, is an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography and is, as such, a recognised professional practitioner in his field.  His portfolio of more than twenty years spans cutting-edge editorial shoots for aspiring models, family portraiture and commercial shoots for launching new products.  His expertise ensures that he can capture the best in his subject, resulting in stunning photographs.
